In December 1999 I went to Nigeria with Elizabeth Post for research. We traveled to the South and then to the East and West and North. We spoke with people from all works of life. Our purpose was to find out how the Christian Association of Nigeria and the Netherlands Council of Churches could work together and learn from one another. This request was made by the president of the Christian Association of Nigeria during a meeting held in Brussels. My task was to find out if Nigeria Christian Association has a standard foundation suitable for the Netherland Council of Churches to work with.
